To use Moodle at UQAM, you must request the creation of a space.
Several types of spaces are available depending on the audience and the objectives (branded course space, program space and project space). As part of a course, it is a course space linked to a course symbol that must be created and activated to add people registered in the corresponding course.
- Labeled Courses: space reserved for group courses officially registered with the Registrar for a given session. Students access this course space when it is activated.
- Programs: space reserved for study programs. As soon as this common course space is activated, all students registered in the program will have access to it. Its use is optional. Usually, the program director creates and manages this course space.
- Projects: space reserved for projects and unbranded courses, these are neither branded courses nor study programs. Activation does not apply to this type of course space. The addition of users to these spaces is done manually by the teacher.
