Coastal Carolina University Moodle Login
If you want to login moodle you will need the username and password of Coastal Carolina University so get it and you can do moodle login through the steps given below.
- First Open this webpage link moodle.coastal.edu.
- After clicking on it you will be asked to login by Microsoft and a new Microsoft window will open in front of your screen.
- Enter your email account address or username in the field.
- Then click on the ‘Next’ button.
- Enter your valid Password in the field.
- Last click on the ‘Submit‘ button.
To access your courses in Moodle, go to moodle.coastal.edu. To access your miscellaneous or resource sites, please visit learnmoodle.coastal.edu. Forgot or Reset Moodle Coastal Login Password
If you are having problems logging into Moodle, email, WebAdvisor or other CCU services, you can reset your password. To reset your password, do the following:
- Go to Forgot Password Link and select the appropriate type of user that represents your user type.
- Enter the last 4 digits of your SSN, if you are an international student, enter the last four digits of the International Student Number that was given to you in your letter of acceptance.
- Enter your birth-date, Coastal username, and Coastal ID number in the field.
- You will be prompted to answer the security question you created when you set up your account.
- Once you have correctly answered your security question, you will be prompted to enter a new password, (use a different password than the one you used previously as it is a good security measure and best practice).
- Please make note of your password and store it in a safe and secure place.

Basic Template in Moodle Coastal Carolina University
The key component to both the Basic Template and the Advanced Template are the navigation menus. The Basic Template is designed using the Course Menu Block located at the top left corner of the course homepage. The Course Menu Block provides navigation between course sections, weeks, and topics.

- All of the Course Modules will be created within the Course Module Book.
- Creating each Module:
– Click the Course Module Book.
-In the Table of Contents block located in the top left corner, click the plus sign.

- Discussion Forums, Course Assignments, and Quizzes are all created on the course homepage, not in the Moodle Books.
- Each of these are created by clicking add an activity or resource.
- Once you have created each of these, you will then create a Moodle Book for each of those sections.
- Once you create the Moodle Books, you will then auto-link each of the items inside the Books by typing the name of the item you are auto-linking.
- All of the Discussion Forums go in the Moodle Book labeled Forums. The Assignments go in the Course Assignments Book.
- The Quizzes all go in the Quizzes Book.
Forums
- Type the exact name of the Quiz that is created on the course homepage into the Quiz Book to auto-link them together.
Quizzes
- Type the exact name of the Quiz that is created on the course homepage into the Quiz Book to auto-link them together.
Assignments
- Do that same thing for assignments as with Discussion Forums and Quizzes.
How to Submitting an Assignment in Coastal Moodle Course ?
Moodle has several different types of assignments, so you may need to attach a document or type or paste text directly into an assignment textbox. Make sure to read your instructors directions carefully.
To submit an assignment
- First login to Moodle and Click the link for the assignment.
- Read the instructions at the top of the screen, and Note the Due Date.
- Click the Add Submission button.
- If you need to upload a file, you can drag and drop a file into the File Submissions block.
- If drag and drop is not available, click on the Add button.
- Then select Upload file to browse your computer for the file.
- If you need to add text, type or paste your text into the textbox.
- If you are pasting from a Microsoft Word document, use the Paste from Word tool in the textbox’s toolbar.
- Click Save Changes.
- On some assignments you may also need to click a Submit button to complete the process.
- Some assignments may allow you to submit multiple times.
- Check with your instructor about the expectations for the assignment.
